Gia Blakey
Born in a barren Central Valley town, Gia always had aspirations to escape her status quo. From creating One Direction video edits and designing her own clothes in the sixth grade to graduating from UCLA’s renowned acting program, she has always sought a creative outlet that allows her to dream big.
During her college career, Gia acted in over 20 short films! Notable ventures include UCLA MFA Pilot The Ladies and UCLA Film Honor Council. She performed in the LA Opera Eurydice Festival and in her senior year, led the UCLA Mainstage play SuperAmerica. With a passion for video editing, she created a video series for UCLA’s FEM Magazine highlighting influential women throughout history. She also made One Direction video edits and fanfiction from ages 12-15. (It was just a phase. But Niall was her favorite). When Gia’s not behind the camera or onstage, she is unintentionally burning cookies in the oven or tumbling across a gymnastics floor.
